The XT Falcon (1968–1969) was still very much a mechanically driven machine, and the electrical system reflects it well: simple, rugged, and built with serviceability in mind rather than sophistication.

There’s no electronics here in any modern sense — just clean, direct circuits that do exactly what they’re supposed to do, as long as the wiring and earths are in good condition.

System Overview

The XT Falcon runs a conventional 12-volt negative earth electrical system built around mechanical switching and early alternator charging technology.
