The ED Falcon was in production for 1 year
The ED was available with 2 6 cylinder engines and 2 V8 engines
No ED Ute was available, however the XG Ute was sold along side it and had similar running gear
The ‘Futura’ variant was brought back with the ED
72 571 ED Falcons were produced
The ED XR6/8 gained the now iconic quad headlight look. The EB XR6/8 headlights remained unchanged from the base model.
Due to much competition in the large/ family car market in the 1990’s standard equipment levels were quite high with the ED

The ED sedan fuel tank was 4 litres larger than the sedans (68L, 72L)
The ED Falcon was about 50KG heavier than the previous model
