Below is a breakdown of what petrol costs when each Falcon model was first released.

A few notes:

All prices indicated are in cents per litre. On February 14, 1966 Australia changed its currency from the pound to the dollar. At the time of change over, the conversion was £1 =$2, this has been accounted for in earlier years.

Prices indicated are Sydney averages, as national averages are inconsistent and non existent in earlier years.
