The most accurate and reliable data on historical Gold prices in Australian dollars only dates back to 1975. For that reason we have started with the XC Falcon. Gold prices are listed as ounces, the price is taken from the month of July for each stated year, car prices are for the base model. I have also divided the numbers to find out how many ounces of gold would have been required to purchase each car.
